Basis

Arts. 124–125 — Leave: 15 days in the first year, 21 days from the second, 30 days after 10 years or over age 50; if the employment ends before the balance is used, the worker is paid for it.

Art. 156 — Notice: Either party may end an open-ended contract with written notice three months before the end.

Art. 164 — Pay in lieu: An employer who ends the contract without notice, or before the notice runs out, pays the wage for the notice period or what is left of it.

Art. 165 — Unlawful dismissal: Compensation of not less than two months' wage for each year of service, without prejudice to other rights.

Art. 172 — After 60: For work after age 60: half a month's wage per year for the first five years and a month per year after, if there are no old-age insurance rights for that period.

Resignation alone gives no compensation or general gratuity under the Labour Law; your contract or company rules may give more.
