Good to know Free tertiary education: Filipino students in state universities and colleges (SUCs) and local universities and colleges (LUCs) are exempt from tuition and other school fees, if they pass the admission and retention requirements (RA 10931, s. 4). Some students are not covered, for example those who already have a bachelor's degree or who fail the school's retention policy (RA 10931, s. 6). Living costs, books and transport are not free — that is why they are a separate line here. The yearly increase is your assumption. Ask the school for its tuition history and change the rate.
A savings plan, not financial advice. The increase is an assumption; interest your savings may earn is not counted. Checked 21 October 2026.
