Our rules
A limit per person, agreed before we go into the shops.
Secret Santa for the big family: one gift each, same price for everyone.
Keep receipts for Boxing Day swaps.
Anything left over goes into the summer holiday fund.
Our own amounts: the examples are not average prices. The weekly plan runs from today to the day before Christmas Eve; the last payment adjusts. Public holidays: Christmas Day Friday 25 December 2026, Boxing Day observed Monday 28 December, New Year's Day Friday 1 January and the 2 January holiday observed Monday 4 January 2027 (employment.govt.nz).
