Our rules
Cash for Grand Market in an envelope — when it is gone, we go home.
Every gift has a price before we go to the shop.
No new hire purchase or loan for Christmas.
Anything left over goes to January: school fees and back-to-work costs.
Our own amounts: the examples are not shop prices. Weekly payments run from today to the week before Christmas Eve; the last one adjusts.
